Vourvourou Villa Guide: Things to Do Near Villa Natalia

Vourvourou is one of the quietest and most beautiful corners of Halkidiki. Pine forest runs down to white-sand coves, and a scatter of small islands floats in a shallow, turquoise lagoon. This guide covers the best things to do around Vourvourou — the beaches, the islands, the villages and the day trips — and how to make the most of a stay at Villa Natalia, an 8-bedroom luxury villa in Vourvourou for up to 16 guests.
Why Vourvourou?
Vourvourou sits on the eastern coast of Sithonia, the middle peninsula of Halkidiki. Unlike the busier resorts of Kassandra, it has kept a calm, low-rise character: summer houses among the pines, a few tavernas by the water and no large hotels on the beach. The sea here is protected by the Diaporos islands, so it stays calm and clear for most of the summer — ideal for families, swimmers and anyone who wants a slower holiday.

Small boats can be rented in the village without a licence, and within minutes you can reach empty coves, the famous “Blue Lagoon” with its bright turquoise shallows, and small sandy beaches that are only accessible from the sea.
